Whenever you’ll start a conversation about Kashmir in any group. You’ll hear the particular and frequent phrase Paradise on Earth. Now, there will be a seek in your mind why? What place of Kashmir can be a Paradise? Let me share my experience. The first place that tempts me of Kashmir is Arang Kel. I can assert that If you are reaching after listening to this phrase paradise on earth, thus you should turn your vehicle towards Arang Kel.

Arang Kel is a Village in Neelam Valley on the hilltop of Kel. It will take almost 8 and a half hours from Muzaffarabad. During your way, you can cover almost all tourist destinations of Kashmir like Pir Chinasi, Dhani waterfall, Kundal Shahi waterfall, Ratti Gali Lake, Baboon Valley, and Karen. When you will reach Kel. There will be Kel Bazar here you can take a cup of tea and for lunch. There are few hotels for the night stay. But I’ll recommend you should stay at Arang Kel.

To reach Arang Kel, you have two options first is a trek which will take approximately 2 and a half hours. Second is the Chair lift (famous as Dolly) and I would recommend this. As it would be an adventure. It will take a max of 5 minutes and later half to one-hour hiking depends on your physical condition. There is a track available for Arang Kel and it is not much challenging. Now, they have built some stairs and put some strings to maintain your balance during this tracking. Tracking would be easy in summer and will challenge you during the snow time.

Lush green fields with horses and cattle will rollick. When you will see huts and houses in between these fields and wind will whistle, birds will chant and with no noise is an original grace to go through like a life experience. You should spend the night here because at night galaxy views will be surprisingly clear and you will enjoy just near you. The bonfire will be a plus perk of a night stay. The next day awakes up soon and has morning peace and starts walking towards the village from your resort. Locals and resort management can guide you about it. You should devote at least four to five hours to the village and forest exploration. You will spend your time here without signals and the internet close to nature. In conclusion, I would add for a nature-feeling human, this place is a God’s present.
